Dolores A. Black Special Olympics Internship

A Wood County Special Olympics internship position is available to university students looking to gain hands on experience working in the sport management field. This full-time internship is offered each scholastic year. This internship is available thanks to the establishment of the Dolores A. Black Special Olympics Internship Fund.

Dolores has volunteered for Wood County Special Olympics since 1972. As a former faculty member at Bowling Green State University, she encouraged undergraduate and graduate students as well as gain practical experience gain practical experience working with Wood County Special Olympics.

This fund is a lasting tribute to Dolores and her commitment to university students looking to gain valuable hands on experience with athletes who have intellectual disabilities.
